Solomon Gorilla Foundation

The Solomon Gorilla Foundation started after the merger of PTO and Booster Club. The goal of the foundation is to support the school's students and staff. Each year they support the school through the following projects and efforts.

  • Contributor to the purchase of new scoreboards

  • Yearly contributor to Operation Gorilla Family

  • Senior Banners

  • Sponsor catering for various events

  • T-shirts for every student in PreK-12th grade

  • Parent-Teacher Conference meal

  • Pizza Bingo

  • Contributor to Gorilla Readers

  • Donkey Basketball 

  • Homecoming supplies

  • Much MORE

Foundation Meetings

Community members and parents are welcome to join any SGF Meetings. The SGF meets on Mondays, once a month in the counseling center at 6 p.m. An agenda will be sent prior to the meeting. Occasionally SGF is looking for volunteers to help with concessions, running events, or other things that come up during the year.  If you would like to become a member of the SGF, select the Membership Form link.

If you have a project or a need for your team/classroom, the SGF wants to help! Click the SGF Funds Request tab. The form is fairly simple and quick to fill out. When completed, your building-level administrator will need to approve and sign it. Then it comes to the SGF. We do ask that you attend the next meeting to explain your request to the officers.
