On Thursday, September 24th the middle school football team traveled to Wakefield. Their game ended up in a loss with a score of 28-44.
Coach Andrew Johnson had this to say about the game, “The junior high played very hard and just came up short.”
The middle school volleyball teams also played Wakefield and the “A” team lost in 2 sets with the scores of 16-25 and 19-25. The “B” won in 2 sets with the scores of 25-21 and 25-13.
Coach Desormiers had this to say about the games, “I thought that the “A” team showed a lot of growth this game. Their fundamentals were great, but we really hurt ourselves with all of our missed serves. The “B” team played really hard, played together, and was able to come out with the win. It was great to see them happy and feeling confident!”
The next game for the Solomon middle school teams will be on Thursday, October 1st at home against Bennington.
