On Thursday, October 15th the Solomon Gorillas middle school volleyball team traveled to Rural Vista. The A team won in two sets (25-16) and (25-10). When we asked coach Desormiers about the A team match she said, “ I am very proud of how they played! I feel confident going into the WSL tournament with this group. They have the ability to win it all.” The B team split their match and when we asked Coach Desormiers about the match she said, “ They played a great 2nd set and looked the best they have all year! A great way to end their season.” Then the C team played and when we asked coach Desormiers about their match she said, “ they played great and played with a lot of heart!”
The next contest for the JH volleyball team will be on Monday, October 19th at Little River. They will conclude their season at the Wheat State League Tournament.
On Thursday, October 15th the Solomon Gorillas middle school football team traveled to Rural Vista to take on the Heat. The football team lost the final game of their season 12-20. When we asked coach Johnson about the game he said, “it was a hard fought battle and a great season of ups and downs.”
