On Thursday, September 9th the Solomon Gorillas Middle School Volleyball team
competed in a triangular against Little River and Elyria Christian.
The Gorillas finished the night with a 0-2 record. They lost to Elyria Christian in 3 sets (25-12, 3-25, 15-17) and also lost to Little River in 2 sets (12-25, 8-25).
When Coach Cook was asked about what her team has improved on since the last game, she said, “We had a tough night and had to adjust! Definitely a learning experience. Service receive is something we need to improve on. They knew how to hit the ball hard and we had some great digs but struggled with the new adjustment having the main player out and unable to play. But we will have to make this better! Excited for the next game!”
The Gorillas will be at Herington for their next competition on Thursday, September 16th.
