On Friday, October 1st the Solomon Gorillas HS Football team played against the Bennington Bulldogs in a home game. The Gorillas lost the game with a score of 0-50.
When Coach Kilgore was asked about what his team has improved since the last game, he responded with “We as a team made too many mistakes and that's on me. I, as the head coach, need to make sure that I put the players in positions to be successful. I felt like the players left everything on the field and battled until the end. We will bounce back. We will have a big game this coming week against Lincoln.”
The Gorillas will be going to take on Lincoln for their next competition on Friday, October 8th. The games will be available via live stream on the Solomon High School Sports Network YouTube channel.
