On Thursday, October 7th the Solomon Gorillas MS Football team played Canton-Galva at home. The Gorillas won 36-20.
When Coach Spresser was asked what his thoughts were on how his team performed he said, ”I believe that our team played very well on Thursday, and we came out with a win due to their play in all facets of the game - offensively, defensively, and on special teams.” We also asked him what was something his team would work on in practice based on how they played the game and his response was, “Our defense has been a strong part of our team the past few weeks, and we will continue to focus on that as we finalize our season.”
The Gorillas will be at home to compete against Rural Vista on Thursday, October 14th. The games will be available via livestream on the Solomon High School Sports Network YouTube channel.
