Our second graders have been studying Kansas in the past and present. We compared the lives of the Native Americans, the first pioneers, and what our families live like today on the plains of Kansas. After learning our background information students were then put into teams to create a 3-D model of life for each group. Our models will be on display in the elementary library until January 31. Everyone is welcome to come and see our models.

Tonight's games vs Wakefield have been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday the 18th. JV girls start at 3, JV boys to follow. Varsity girls will tip at 4:00 and boys follow. Crowning will be at halftime of boys game. The dance will remain the same time as scheduled.

Last week students in grades K-4 were introduced to Power Panther who will be teaching the students to "EAT SMART! and PLAY HARD!" Follow our posts for the next several weeks and learn with your child by preparing healthy snacks and meals and by being physically active together.

I had 13 students come in before school this morning to practice recorder! I’m so proud that they are taking their own time to become better musicians! If you have a third or fourth grade student that wants to practice, they can come in before school from 7:30-7:55. #GorillaMusic
The Junior High C-Team tournament for this Saturday has been cancelled. Goessel School District is closed due to illness the next few days. A reschedule date will be announced soon.
